In August 2014, Shane realized the number of Real Estate Agents in the North Georgia area had been significantly impacted from the Real Estate downturn.
The remaining agents were the ones who knew their business and in many cases had been in the market for many years. Most agents run the tried and true business model of gaining business from referrals and relying upon the standard marketing techniques.
There is nothing wrong with the standard business model but Shane, realized there was an opportunity to serve buyers and sellers in the area. There is an opening in the market place for new ideas, and new business models.
With his knowledge of marketing from over the past 10 years of entrepreneurship Shane decided his skills could be applied to being a real estate agent helping Sellers sell their homes faster.
With his years of business dealings and honing his negotiation skills, Shane felt that he could also give an advantage to his buyers. All of this lead to the decision to go all in and join RE/MAX Select Realty in Dalton, GA.
In 2015, his first full year Shane converted 32 sides in home sales. This places him in the top 15 of agents in number of sides sold in the local area. This year he is on track to convert 40 or more sides helping more and more families sell or find their perfect home.
